There’s no denying it – the African bushveld is calling to you to get out here. Whether you’ve always wanted a career in conservation, or you’re just looking for a new experience, living in the bush among wildlife is where you belong.

It’s time to get OUT HERE with Bushwise!

How can you do this? Join our free virtual open day and learn about how you could become a qualified field guide with Bushwise. Change your career trajectory or take a life-changing gap year or sabbatical. Come with all your questions – we’ve got the answers.

On 27 May 2023, we’re opening our virtual doors to all future field guides and nature enthusiasts. Join us for a live discussion about our in-person and online field guide courses, and learn how you can make a change and start your career as a safari guide or conservationist, no matter where in the world you’re from!

During this interactive online event, you’ll hear more about our career courses, online courses, internships, and our employment guarantee. We’ll hear from a current bushwise student about campus life, and a woman who made her way from the USA to South Africa to pursue a lifelong goal of working in conservation.

Our experienced staff members will be available live to answer all of your burning questions!

As a bonus, by attending the event you’ll qualify for a reduced deposit of ZAR8,500 (GBP680, AUD1280, CAD1170, EUR800, USD930). A limited number of scholarships are also available for Open Day attendees (for 2023 start dates only).

If you’re interested in a career in conservation or safari guiding, or just an epic gap year in South Africa, this is your chance to get OUT HERE!

Details: This event will take place as a live discussion over Zoom*. We’ll send you a link (via email and SMS) the day before the event. Our speakers will present and attendees can engage via the chatbox and ask the presenter questions in real-time. These questions will be answered live after the presentations.

*Please note that no Zoom account is needed and in the event that you would like to download Zoom, the free version is perfectly suitable. If you are a first-time Zoom user, please note that the presenters and other attendees will not be able to see you via video or hear you via sound.
