In-person: Bushwise Professional Field Guide Course
Train and live for 23 weeks in the pristine African bushveld, while earning your FGASA Apprentice Field Guide NQF2 qualification and NQF4 knowledge. Go beyond the basics as our experienced trainers (with over 100 years of collective experience) introduce you to additional knowledge and skills to make you a world-class safari guide.
Following the course, you can choose to embark on a 6-month practical placement on a game reserve or volunteer or research program.
In-person: Bushwise 60-day Safari Guide course
Become a FGASA-certified field guide in just 60 days. Spend two months living and training in the African bush, observing wildlife in their natural habitat, learning from experts and gaining valuable skills. Also includes track and sign, wilderness first aid, and reptile handling.
