For those of you who followed us on Instagram, Facebook and read our weekly Blogs, you will all know what is about to happen since the course started back in July 2015….PLACEMENT TIME! WOW, still can’t believe that time could fly past so quickly? Well I guess the saying: “time flies when you are having fun”, is TRUE!!
It was really a good experience as this was my first course too and luckily EVERYONE learnt something new every day.
On Thursday last week, we went to Kruger National Park. The trip filled with great sightings… It was definitely worth waking up at 3:00am to be at Orpen Gate before the gate open at 5:30am.
Here is a list of the amazing sightings we were privileged to see:
- Lions – Elephants – Buffalo – White Rhino – Leopard
- Sable antelope – Steenbok – Common Duiker – Impala – Kudu – Nyala – Baboons – Vervet Monkeys – Giraffe
- 67 bird species including – Lapped-faced Vulture , Saddle-billed Stork, Secretary Bird, Fish Eagle, Squacco Heron, only to name a few..
Well, THANK YOU to everyone for a great 6 months!! We can almost say December holidays, HERE WE COME!!! Looking forward to the next group of hopeful students in January!
From my side, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
